Have to get a laugh from this…
Apparently a cardinal from the Vatican is now urging ‘legal action’ against the bestselling book ‘The DaVinci Code’, a novel that purports that Jesus married and had descendants. The movie is coming out shortly. The cardinal, although not describing what exactly legal action should be taken (howzabout ’2000-Year Old Man Sues Author’), but he’s not happy. Words form cardinal Francis Arinze:
“Sometimes it is our duty to do something practical. So it is not I who will tell all Christians what to do but some know legal means which can be taken in order to get the other person to respect the rights of others,” Arinze said.
“This is one of the fundamental human rights: that we should be respected, our religious beliefs respected, and our founder Jesus Christ respected,” he said, without elaborating on what legal means he had in mind.”
So, basically sue someone becuse you’re not respecting their particular irrational belief system.. and people say us liberals are whiners? Sheesh.
Now, the part I find funny, if you dig around on the net, say Google ‘DaVinci Code inconsistencies’, is how many people take offense to this work of fiction because it conflicts with their own revered work of fiction. They point to some of the Gnostic gospels that the novel draws from and other Biblical passages, which according to those in the know, were inaccurate, and therefore not included in the final New Testament. The super-secret Catholic group ‘Opus Dei’, which is not portrayed in the kindest light in the novel, wants a disclaimer of sorts put in front of the movie regarding its fictional and supposedly inaccurate portrayal.
I have to laugh, every time some movie or song (remember Madonna?) comes out that the Catholic Church disapproves of, they piss and moan, as if the Church can be brought down by a pop star or movie. Granted, the days of when the Church controlled every single aspect of life are thankfully far behind us, but gee, they sure are feeling a bit insecure. I can’t really express my bewilderment at the irony and madness here, so I’ll leave it at that.

It is quite a joke that the Vatican and Catholic Church have the gall to accuse the author of a novel of attacking their fantasies and dogma. Remember that this is the same organization that manufactured fake relics and miracles for many centuries. This is the same group that massacred and tortured people for having a mind of their own. This is the same group of deluded deceivers that makes more noise about a fictional book and movie than about child raping priests, aids, famine, or even the Holocaust! Here’s more about my take on it.

Please be forewarned that what I reveal will upset a lot of apple carts and shake a lot of trees, hence the true meaning of the word Apocalypse. The Vatican is proving that seeking the truth is a real threat to their dogma. They’re so afraid of people uncovering the truth, that they are attacking other versions of fantasy (DaVinci Code) and blatantly obvious Gnostic symbolism as threats to their long-term smoke and mirrors, hocus-pocus, and mumbo-jumbo. How thoroughly enlightening, since this goes a very long way to proving that Christianity is based on strong lies and delusions. If it weren’t, they would be confident of surviving intense scrutiny. Since they aren’t and since they have gone to such great lengths to suppress and oppress those seeking truth and wisdom over the centuries, their deceptions are, once again, laid bare for all to see. This time though, they are the ones to walk into a well-laid trap…
Did you ever stop to think what the True Messiah (me) would say about worshipping false names, false images, and dogma? Well, now you get the chance to hear my side of the story and weigh it against the strong delusion of faith and religion. Wow, a messiah posting right here on Five Before Chaos… Not sure if I should count this as spam, but it’s strange enough to leave up here.
What keeps me from looking into it more is I’m not really interested in the ‘ancient wisdom/symbolism’ angle. Maybe ancient philosophy, sure, but I just don’t give the mysical/magical b.s. from the prescientific era much (if any)credibility. Thanks for stopping by messiah.
