Buh-bye Rudy.
Ghouliani dropping out. I guess it’s hard to win when you only have one delegate so far. He plans on flying to LA to endorse John McCain, where afterwards he will be checking himself in to an undisclosed mental health facility so he can overcome his chronic “9-11 Tourettes” and get on with his life and plans to find a new mistress, now that he’ll have more time on his hands.
Seriously, though, one quote from the linked story says it all:
Giuliani’s bid for the nomination was based on his leadership. The only question was how many voters would follow.
Well, I guess that speaks volumes about his leadership.

Yay! "Mr. 9/11" is all done…washed up, finished…what will my Dad do now I wonder? :) I hate to gloat too much, but this is good for America no matter what, I think.
I wish I could say that this is a repudiation of the fear tactics surrounding terrorism and 9/11, but I betcha it’s just another repudiation of the "let’s skip all the early contests and ride high to victory on Super-duper Tuesday" strategy. I guess it may end up being an "anybody but Romney" thing in the GOP soon…
I weep for infamous Giuliani advisor Norman Podhoretz. Oh, wait, no I don’t.
Talking Points Memo really did a great job nailing Giuliani on corruption. When that came out, that was IMO the beginning of the end for him. Good for TPM.
It’s that "i" on the end of his name, and the fact that he’s from N(J)ew York City that did Don Guiliani in with the rustics that make up the GOP core constituency in Dicksea. For the rest of the country, the choice was a distinguished (albeit crazy) ex-POW or a corrupt hack. Don’t cry for Rudi, though. He’ll go back to what he was doing - selling 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 speeches at $45K a pop.
Looks like your boy Edwards is out too JD.
Yeah, I’m going to post about that shortly.
