FBC Does Denver: Day 1
Ok, folks… a ten minute recap hastily edited by me with what I did yesterday. There’s not too much speechifying, so make sure you watch the whole thing.
Some thoughts… it’s a truly surreal experience. I’m not surprised at how contrived much of it is, but on another level, much of it is a theatrical farce of a grand scale that rises to the level of comedy. I can understand to an extent why this is done, but the way the people in the arena act is baffling…. laughing at the worst jokes imaginable, dancing to horrible music, clinging to every word and applauding some of the most clichéd speeches ever spoken… I really don’t get it.
But on another level, it does resonate with people. That’s the truly baffling part.

You know, for a guy that never leaves his house you sure do have some star quality! Did you get to meet Biden….. I know he is your hero! The band sounded like that 70′s band (Polyester) that you sat in with.. you know the one that Jay plays with … truly amazing… the talent.. the talent. Enough said! Enjoy yourself and remember not to get too naked when Obama excepts the nomination!

During the primary it seemed the guy couldn’t open his mouth without inserting a foot.
