Five Before Chaos

I can’t help but wonder if this latest stunt (and that’s exactly what it is) by Pappy McCain (“canceling the debate”) is really the beginning of the end, like jumping off of the Titanic or something. Not to be a concern troll, becuse anything that improves his odds of losing is undoubtedly a good thing, but jeezuz, this is stupid by any stretch of the imagination. It boggles the mind. Obama should go to the debate anyways and debate a picture of McCain (like Ed Flanagan did with his run against Jim Jeffords years ago, and yes, I know, he lost). It’d look like this:

McCain’s entire campaign is composed of lobbyists, and they need to be in Washington to get their cut of the $700 billion. They can’t miss this shot at the trough.

It’s so comforting to know that one of the most important issues facing the country isn’t Iraq, or the economy, or global warming, it’s whether Obama thinks his minister loves America. Oh, and flag pins. We will just feed poor American kids lots of flag pins and everything will be okay after that. Send some to the dead Iraqi kids too, while yer at it. I will indeed sleep well tonight.

“Three dollars an ounce.”

“How much does it cost for programmer brain?”

“Four dollars an ounce.”

“How much for journalist brain?”

“$1,000 an ounce.”

“Why is journalist brain so much more?”

“Do you know how many journalists we had to kill to get one ounce of brain?”
